This glass pendant is handmade by the artist Sandi Katz. She is the artist that makes the mezuzah (see the category Purple Judica). This glass pendant is surrounded in a lavender glass with two different shades of purple squares and in the middle there are blue and purple accents so tht it looks like fire in the light. Truly remaqrkable. It comes on a neck wire with a strong clasp that is magnetic as well. The pendant measures 1 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Sandi Katz is a glass artist whose work is known across the United States. Each signed piece is an original handcrafted design that has been kiln fired. It takes about 12 hours from the inception of a piece until the firing process is complete. Many of the multi-layered designs require multiple firings. "I enjoy being able to combine function, beauty, and the warmth of tradition. I delight in the infinite array of design possibilities available with this art form.
