It boasts of three dark purple amethysts and a pearl set in burnished sterling silver plated so it will not tarnish. The pendant measures 2" long and comes with a sterling silver chain that measures 15" long. Aslo included is 2" detachable extension. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Frederick Duclos is an award winning French Jewelry designer who has been working from his California studio 1984. For several generations, his family has been designing couture accessories, so it was natural for him to continue the tradition. Unique and Stunning designs define Duclos' talents. His jewelry is as appropriate with casual wear as it is in a sophisticated and formal environment. . I don't usually gravitate to jewelry with pearls in it but this piece captivated me.
